The Human Factor: Right to accept

Leadership has taken front seat when we talk about managment and organization development. Every company is looking for leaders in their departments to achieve perfection in operation activities. But on the contrary companies are actually make them accept what ever the company is offering them. Offering means the available resources or requirement of new resources. The suituation is even worse wehen we talk about indian companies taged as family business. I recent visit to one of the leading manufacturer of automobile components in Rajasthan acutally proved this fact. The company was not even having proper sitting arrangement for its employees. Even the General manager (Admin) has two broken chairs in his so called cabin which looked more of a Barber shop with everything broken. When asked about this the answer was, we have informed it to the dirctor and soon we will be having new chairs. When asked when have you informed the director, the answer was six months back. Though the company is one of the most reputed company in automobile component manufacturing, the status of manpower is very bad. Though there are leaders in the company but again they are not allowed to speak in meating or discussions, and even if they do they loose thier job.

Right to accept is a condition where the concept of leadership does not prevails. When we talk about following best preactices of management in any company, how many companies actually give power to their employees to use available resources. The leadership concept is well understood my MNCs and they give power to their employees to show or utulize the resourses so that maximum output can be actived of their potential and also to their subordinates.
